The Full Story
The James River Community Collaborative started providing high-quality training for local care providers in the Greater Lynchburg community in 2017. The JRCC team was developed through a regional partnership among the CPMTs of Lynchburg, Bedford, Campbell, Amherst, and Appomattox, as well as Horizon Behavioral Health and several private providers.
Mission
The James River Community Collaborative is a diverse group of professionals and community members passionate about providing opportunities for community resource sharing, networking, and training.
Annual Conference
JRCC holds an annual conference for care providers, including community mental health workers, social services caseworkers, juvenile probation officers, teachers and educators, parents / caretakers, and others in the helping professions.
JRCC is known for bringing fun to our conference! Whether it is food trucks, a surprise afternoon of self-care, or giveaways, we try to make this an enjoyable and educational experience.
